We stopped with 25man raiding but some of us still enjoy the slow pace of our 10man raid, and we will continue to progress with that group of people. We raid very casual for now but we manage to get bosses down anyhow. With only 1 or 2 raids a week so far, we managed to kill the 6 first bosses on heroic mode, leaving us with “only” Spine and Madness of Deathwing left.

We killed Warmaster Blackhorn with a total of 64 attempts over 2 evenings (Movie in movie section/youtube).
Wiped most due to bad rng, bugs (like no charge paths) or the deck fire going out of control (flying gnomes slacking with the hoses). 2 Melees in the setup didnt really help either, but we made it work. Phase two was a complete joke, and we killed it the first time we got to it with all members alive

During December and January Aurora Borealis lost most of the core raiders due to IRL or people just getting tired of 25man and the way World of Warcraft is heading. Because of this the guild is taking a break with 25man raiding. Maybe we’ll come back as a raiding guild in Mists of Pandaria, but for now we just consider ourselves a casual group of friends hanging out ingame.

We were pretty close to a kill on Thursday, but we were lacking the final few % to get the kill. We should probably have killed it on Sunday, but i guess we played like shit instead. Reworked strats and positions and all that shit a couple of times and got the kill in the end with a couple of dps having to go healing since well yeah stuff happened.

Dead in about an hour of attempts, with no prior ptr experience. Had a few 3-5% wipes and for the kill we ended up kiting Kohcrom around in a circle the last 3% or so.

And here is our 10man kill on Heroic Mode. Just to state the obvious, how easy it is compared to 25man, so we killed it with our ALT-group. Been close to a kill for a while, just had to play better and besides we only raided for like 4 hours a week for a while.
